Scrapping Components

Scrapping a Rotable Component is carried out in the MATERIALS (Stores) section. This can be done from Editing the Repair Purchase Order if the Repairer advises that the Part is B.E.R. (Beyond Economical Repair). It can also be done directly on the Part from the Inventory Screen.
With regard to Items in your own W/SHOP, the process to scrap the item is by changing the Status to "SCRAPPED" using the Pull-Down menu in the Open/Edit Job Menu. This step will complete Scrap process including printing a "Scrap Certificate"
